TECHNICALLY and CONCEPT 

Exploration of 68 synthesiser bass presets organised in sequence, some modulated by LFO, various types of envelope, etc, each sound it’s a universe in synthesis world. 

About the Double Bass, this time its sound processing, it is in the most simple way possible, just the DPA microphone, processed with the PCM60 reverb by Lexicon MPX100 processor, trying to give a natural sound of the instrument, to focus on its real playing. 

In terms of musical form, it’s based on a sequence of episodes created by the change of the synthesiser 68 imaginative bass presets used. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

Some days before 2021 Christmas, it came to me in facebook a picture of the freaky playset Godzilla (King of Monsters) vs. Jesus (King of Jews), that immediately, stimulated my imagination for music, it became the opportunity for one more conceptual improvised piece, and premiere in duo with double bass my recent synthesiser, the Arturia MicroFreak.
